Dutching is a risk-free Matched Betting method, betting on all available outcomes, using separate bookmakers and not using any betting exchange.
In this guide I will show you how to use the DoppelWetten Dutch Matcher.

The first thing to notice is that the Dutch Matcher will search for both 2- and 3-way Dutches.
A 2-way Dutch involves placing a bet with two different bookmakers and a 3-way Dutch involves placing a bet with three different bookmakers.
You may not see any 2-way or any 3-way Dutches when you do your search as it depends on the odds at the time.
You can always refresh the search by clicking on the little refresh button in the top right corner.
Starting from left to right the first section tells you the type of sport. In this case football.
Date/time tells you the date and time of the game.
Event tells you the teams involved in the game. In this case it is Everton and Manchester City. Underneath the teams you see the market. In this case it is the full time market.
Then you have Bet 1, Bet 2 and Bet 3. Here you can see the bookmakers and the odds. For Bet 1, for example, which is a bet on the home team to win, the bookmaker is Betvictor and the odds are 10,50.
The rating tells you how much you can earn from this Dutch. In this case the rating is 101,84. This means that you can expect to make €1,84 of guaranteed profit from an investment of €100.
Under the little clock you can see when the Dutch was found. In this case 2,8 minutes ago.
Lastly we have a little “i” in a blue circle. If you click on this icon you will open the Dutch Matcher Calculator. The calculator will be covered more in detail below.
In the top left corner you can see more information about the specific event, including country and league.
In the left column you can see the three possible Outcome options i.e. either Everton to win, a draw or Manchester City to win the game.
Under Bookmaker you can again see the involved bookmakers and the corresponding odds. However, you’ll note that each bookmaker now has a drop down box. This is especially helpful if the odds have changed, as you can quickly see if there are other bookmakers that offer the same odds.
If you click on View Website, you will be taken straight to the bookmaker’s website and if possible straight to the bet in question.
Under Price you can see the different odds.
Under Stake you can see how much you should stake on each outcome. In this example you should place €9,70 on Everton. You can also see the total stake. In this example the total stake is €100. However, you can adjust this manually and the calculator will automatically make the re-calculations for you.
Please make sure you also read the Enable Stake Rounding section below.
Under Return you can see how much the return from each bet will be. For example if Everton win the game you will have a return of €101,85 from a total investment of €100.
Under Profit you can see your risk-free earnings from the Dutch bet. No matter the result of the game you will have a profit of at least €1,84 from a €100 investment.
When dutching, it is very important to pay attention to the stakes.
The Dutch Matcher Calculator will optimise the calculation to ensure your profit is the same regardless of the outcome of the event. In doing so, the Dutch Matcher Calculator rounds up to the nearest decimal.
However, staking e.g. €17,56 on a draw will flag up with the bookmakers as most people bet whole numbers.
Thankfully, the Dutch Matcher Calculator comes with a built-in function to help you round to the nearest whole number whilst optimising the profit.
In the top right of the calculator, you can tick the Enable Stake Rounding box and the calculator will automatically round up to the nearest whole number.
If you compare the numbers from the first image below (no rounding) and the second image (with rounding) you will note that the stake now is in whole numbers. In addition, the total stake has increased by €3 to optimise the profit.
Lastly, you will note that the profit now varies slightly depending on the outcome of the game.
I recommend to always use the stake rounding function to avoid drawing attention to yourself.
A very useful feature is the filter, which you will find by clicking on the filter button in the top right corner of the Dutch Matcher.
You are then able to filter:
You can Limit Sports if for example you are only interested in dutching on tennis matches.
Next you can Limit Markets.
Being able to Limit Bookmakers is very useful to avoid seeing dutches which includes bookmakers where you do not currently have an account.
The Rating tells you how much you can earn per dutch. Here you can filter to only see dutches within a certain rating range.
You are also able to adjust the Odds.
Lastly you can also filter the Event Time if for example you only want to see events that are happening within 12 hours.
The Dutch Matcher doesn’t accommodate a back commission at the moment, so if the bookmakers that you have selected charge the 5% German betting tax, you will need to incorporate this manually by multiplying the respective odds by 0.95.
