Starting Matched Betting with €200
Is it possible to start Matched Betting with an investment of €200?
Yes it is.
In this blog post I will show you an example of how you can steadily double your initial investment to over €400 in only a few weeks. Of the initial amount of €200, you should deposit €100 with Orbit and use the other €100 for the first few welcome offers.
€100 will be enough to cover all the welcome offers of the first four weeks. To fund the bookmaker deposits from Week 5, if you are unable to add to your bankroll (see set of rules below), you can use money withdrawn from either the Week 1 to 4 bookmakers, or Orbit, depending on where your money has accumulated.
Please note that the below is only meant as an example of how you can double your investment.

Follow these rules
With a small bankroll, money management is very important. I have therefore created a set of rules, which I recommend you follow.Keep your money invested in Matched Betting. Don’t take out money and spend it. Be patient and stay focused. With a smaller bankroll, things will take longer. You may read in the Forum that someone is making a lot more money than you. However, they will likely have a much larger bankroll. Don’t gamble or take risks. This is an obvious one but don’t risk your hard-earned money. Track your progress. Use our profit tracker spread sheet to track how you are doing. Only withdraw money from the exchange if you absolutely have to, i.e. if you are unable to do the next offer.Do withdraw your balance from the bookmakers after you have finished with the welcome offers. The bookmakers we recommend below for the first few weeks have few reload offers, and your money is better spent on new offers. If possible try and add to your bankroll whenever you can, for example by making further deposits into your betting exchange account.
Follow this plan
1st week – €11 profit
|Bookmaker||Bookmaker Deposit||Expected Profit||Bankroll||Guide|
|Initial Bank Roll||€200|
2ndweek – €14 profit
3rdweek – €27 profit
4thweek – €36 profit
5thweek – €48 profit
6thweek – €36 profit
Reminder: Your actual profit may be different than what is suggested in this post. The actual outcome depends on the bets you place.
And what’s next?
Use the DoppelWetten list of sign up offers to pick your next welcome offer.
Look for offers with a low wagering requirement.
Only do one offer at a time. This way you don’t risk having to complete the wagering requirement of two welcome offers at the same time.
Keep an eye out for reload offers
Once you have completed a welcome offer, you will be able to earn money from offers that are available to existing customers. We call these reload offers.
The DoppelWetten team posts reload offers in the Forum. Make sure to keep an eye out for these offers in the Forum.
The benefits of a larger bankroll
Now that I have given you some tips on how you can increase your bankroll, I thought you may want to know some of the benefits of having a larger bankroll.
A larger bankroll I would say is when someone has over €1500 they can commit to Matched Betting. The majority of your bankroll should ideally be in your betting exchange account.
The main benefit is larger profits. The more money you have, the more offers you can do at the same time.
Another benefit is that you can do all the offers that are not completely risk-free. You are less vulnerable to fluctuations in earnings and can keep your eye on the long-term profit.
Also, you don’t have to constantly move money around. Frequent withdrawals are not something that the bookmakers like.
Remember, you are always welcome to ask in the Forum if you have any questions or would like to get some tips from other Matched Bettors that are or have been in the same situation.
